If running into a bug while using an app bothers you, then this isn’t the version for you - wait until it has been community tested first. No one on this team regularly uses a Mac so improvement of this tool will require some effort on the part of the Mac Studio community. What that means is that it is going to have bugs until it is being used by a community of Mac users who let us know when they run into an issue that needs work. The game files are full of mods waiting to happen-the Cruiser allows hitherto unknown access to the game files.ĭownload the new Windows version of Studio HERE. The Cruiser allows you to sort the game files in many ways, offers a list or thumbnail view of the selected resource(s), and can package resources for editing in Studio’s Warehouse. Last, but not least, and unrelated to the code changes, is a new feature that hasn’t been developed for any previous Sims game. Build types have been moved to a selection tab at the top of the thumbnail list rather than being selected from radio buttons on the front page in anticipation of adding more build types to Studio’s repertoire. Also, the build and object lists (like the CAS list) can be sorted to only show CC you have in your Studio/Mods folder.

The process required ditching a MFT of legacy code from the Windows version, so a lot of Studio has been rewritten, indicated by the jump from v 2 to v 3. Sims 4 Studio updates today with a Windows version that begins to reconcile the code of Appleseed (Mac) and Jackpot (Windows) and is compatible with Blender 2.78.
